Duck Brats

  1. Reheat the Duck Brat: Heat on a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add rendered duck fat or cooking oil if using skillet. Put the bratwurst in the skillet and reheat for 5-7 minutes on each side until they’re browned and thoroughly heated throughout. Pro-tip: Score the bratwurst diagonally with a knife on both sides before cooking.

  2. Serve: Place each bratwurst in a bun. Add hoisin sauce and cucumber slices if you like.

  3. Enjoy: Bite into your tasty duck brat and savor the flavor!

Oven Roasted Duck Leg

  1. Thaw in refrigerator and than pat dry the duck legs.

  2. Season the ducks legs with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the duck legs in a casserole dish (do not overlap) and add a small amount of rendered duck fat or cooking oil to the dish.

  4. Turn oven on to 300° F and place the casserole dish with duck legs into the oven. (Pro-tip: no need to preheat, let the duck legs warm with the oven.)

  5. Cook at 300° F for 90-120 minutes, then increase temperature to 400° F for another 10-15 minutes or until legs are a golden brown.

  6. For crispier duck legs, remove from casserole dish and place on a baking pan and broil until crispy and golden brown. Remove from oven, strain fat, and let legs sit for 10-15 minutes.
